Photographer Carmel King visited numerous businesses in Southwark and took a series of photographs of people ate work, and the spaces they occupy. To make visible the labour and love present in the borough, in all its rich variety. Carmel King has documented many of Britain’s leading craftsmen and women, heritage brands and manufacturers at the forefront of UK industry. Her images have been published in national and international press and a number of magazines and books.
