A London Met research group carrying out education, research, participatory and advisory and activities in London and internationally

AAD Cities is a research group at the School of Art, Architecture and Design at London Metropolitan University led by Dr Jane Clossick. We are a group of practitioners, academics and students who carry out scholarly, participatory and action research as well as graduate education, urban activism and advisory activities in London and overseas.

AAD Cities is involved in a wide range of public lecture series, seminars, international exhibitions and research by design workshops both at home and overseas. We work tirelessly to establish and consolidate a growing network of international and transdisciplinary urban professionals to coalesce around ethical questions of the city.

Study or Research with Cities

There are a number of ways you can join us for education or research at postgraduate level. You could join the Cities Unit as an MArch Architecture (RIBA 2) student, or you could apply to do one of the masters courses we are involved with, MA Architecture Cities and Urbanism or MA Design for Cultural Commons.

If you already have your MA or MARCH, you might consider doing a PhD at London Met, supervised by members of the Cities Team.
